How Taken
You should take Bentyl as your doctor has prescribed it. Make sure you do not take bigger or less quantity or take it more frequently than instructed. Otherwise there can appear side effects.
Warnings/Precautions
Consult with your physician in case of pregnancy or if you plan to get pregnant. When you decide to quit taking Bentyl, again contact your physician. It is possible your physician to advise you to lower the doses before you stop completely using the medicine. Quitting suddenly the acceptance of Bentyl may lead to dizziness, sweating and vomiting.
Missed Dose
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as possible. If it is to close to the next one, just skip the missed one and go back to your usual dose schedule. You should not take two doses at a time in order to make up for the missed one.
Possible Side Effects
During the treatment period may occur the following side effects: irritability, urinary difficulties, drowsiness, loss of memory or confusion, mouth, skin, nose or throat dryness, unusual nervousness, restlessness or excitement.
Storage
You should keep Bentyl at a normal room temperature ranging from 15o to 30oC (59o - 86oF). It must be kept away from children.
Overdose
If you have any doubts for an overdose, you should immediately contact your doctor and find instant medical help. There may occur the following symptoms: swallowing difficulties dilated pupils, dry and hot skin, mouth dryness, dizziness, blurred vision, vomiting or nausea.
